Raptors of Urban Wild Spaces

The urban environment provides unique challenges and unexpected benefits for birds of prey. Mount Auburn Cemetery and other urban wild spaces are excellent places to observe raptors adapting to life in the city. This 60-minute program will introduce the hawks, falcons and owls that can be found at Mount Auburn Cemetery and surrounding Cambridge and Watertown. We’ll explore the basics on how to identify, appreciate and conserve them. Presented to Friends of Mount Auburn Cemetery.
